This was taken in a tiger park, was a really good Zoo type place with lots of Tigers and Lions, I recommend it for a day trip.

Sciurus vulgaris exalbidus - Siberian Red Squirrel - белка-телеутка
This particular squirrel is unusually dark, especially at the extremities. It could be a type of color point coloration, which is conditioned by the same genetic mechanism as that of Siamese cats and bay horses, combined with something that makes it darker (Similar to the Burmese genetic combination in cats and rats), but it's just my guess. Its unusual coat color could be related to the story I've already told. Alternatively, you can buy the last issue of National Geographic and read about Akademgorodok and our strange-colored animals :)
