I wanted to send a note letting you know Blacky, now Kelby (German meaning dark hair), has adapted very well to our home. The dog and him are battling it out, but I think they will be fine eventually! Our chocolate lab is 6, and he is very friendly and just wants to play! I can't believe that someone would abandon Kelby, he is the most loveable cat I have ever had! When I pick him up he just melts into me and purrs very loudly! He loves his whole stomach rubbed and rolls around so you get all the spots! He is very at home now and is sleeping with us at times throughout the night.
I just love him so much. I have had other cats and loved them all but they were not as lovable as Kelby! I am so happy he is the way he is and that I have him! I didn't know if you ever wonder about the animals that get adopted, I know if I worked there I would! So all is fine in the Gabel household with our new loving addition! :) I am sending some pictures of a very happy cat!
